🔻Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reports Israeli attack on an ambulance in the south of the country
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health says that Israel again carried out an attack in the south of the country on Tuesday, in which two people were injured and an ambulance was damaged.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health condemned the attack and said that rescue forces continue to be targeted.
Lebanon’s official news agency reported that the attack on a vehicle took place in the city of Nabatieh, where two people were injured. According to the Ministry of Health, after the rescue forces arrived at the scene, they were hit by a second Israeli attack, and their ambulance was damaged.
In a statement, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health condemned the ongoing targeting of rescue forces, calling it “an unacceptable violation of international humanitarian law and all international standards.”
Lebanon’s Civil Defense also said that its forces were targeted by an Israeli drone strike while trying to put out a wildfire in the Nabatieh area. No one was injured in the incident, but the rescue teams were forced to leave the scene.
The latest Israeli attack comes while a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah remains in place.
