Luxembourg airport resumed its operations after suspending flights due to a drone sighting over the airport on Friday evening.
In a statement, the airport said the suspension was a “precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers, airline crews, airport staff, and aircraft,” and did not identify the origin of the drones that were spotted.
Luxembourg airport, the country’s only international airport, warned that some delays and disruptions may continue.
The disruption occurred a day after the Luxembourg government, following multiple reports of unidentified drones in the country’s airspace, formed an inter-ministerial working group to assess drones.
