🔻Turkey’s Hurriyet newspaper reported that Hasan Şaş, a former player for Turkey’s national football team, and Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, a journalist and sports commentator, were detained as part of an investigation by the Bakırköy Public Prosecutor’s Office into facilitating the use of narcotic drugs.

🔹In this case, detention warrants have been issued for 18 people; a number of actors, singers, and figures from social media are among them.

🔹According to a statement from the prosecutor’s office, new investigations have been launched within the scope of efforts to combat drug use, which is considered a threat to the health and security of society.

🔹Hurriyet named the detained individuals as follows: Aras Bulut İm nli, actor; Melis Sezen, actor; Nılperi Şahin Kaya, actor; Melissa Şen- A ulson, actor; Efra Saraçoğlu, actor; Sıfèlfah Sagir, by his stage name Sefo, singer; Hande Demir; Hasan Şaş, a former player for the national football team; Melis İşiten, YouTuber and content producer; Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, journalist and sports commentator; Yeliz Yeşilçimen, model; Aidan Osmanlı, social media content producer; Anıl Durmuş, singer; Muhammed Kahyaoğlu; Aitaç Kart; Sıayât Zurna c i; Eyüp Can Perlanda and Refat Atlı.
