🔻Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, stressed the necessity of continuing industrial activity in the coming winter and said that they manage the consumption of water, electricity, gas, and fuel, but will not allow energy limitations to lead to a halt in production.

Referring to the fact that maintaining production is a “red line” for the government, Mr. Pezeshkian said about how to manage energy consumption: “If we are going to limit something, we start with the government and ministries. Many offices and buildings can be temporarily merged or shut down so that their gas and electricity are used for production.”

He added that the government will not allow problems caused by energy restrictions to be passed on to the people and asked people to cooperate to “create stability and discourage the enemy.”
