Meyssah Shahvardi, a former youth player for Sepahan club, was shot with live ammunition by government forces during the protests of 18 Dey 1404 in the “Khane Isfahan” area and died. He was 19 years old and only two months remained until the end of his military service. Based on information received by IranWire, Meyssah Shahvardi on the evening of 18 Dey was hit by a bullet in the right flank and the kidney area in the Khane Isfahan neighborhood. The bullet impact caused severe internal bleeding.
