Mike Johnson, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, said he believes the United States is on a path to settle the war with the Islamic Republic.

According to ABC News, Johnson added: “Fighting with the Islamic Republic has naturally led to higher gas prices, and this situation has dragged on.”

He added: “I believe that in the end, a coalition of countries will form, including NATO member allies and the Arab countries in the region. All countries in the world have an interest in keeping the Strait of Hormuz open for trade. Therefore, I believe we will enter a stage in which we can calm this situation.”

Johnson said: “This will mean that gas prices will stay lower and food prices will also decrease.”
