🔻Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a conversation with Donald Trump, president of the United States, said that continuing talks with Iran in order to make use of diplomacy is important, and that Turkey is ready to participate in this effort.

The office of the President of Turkey said that in this phone call, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed Ankara’s readiness to support peace efforts.

Earlier, Jared Kushner, the envoy of Donald Trump, the president of the United States, had said that the talks between Iran and the United States are serious and intense, but the two sides have not yet reached an understanding.

Mr. Kushner, who is also Donald Trump’s son-in-law, told Fox News that negotiations between the United States and various institutions of the Iranian government are likely stronger than ever, but the two sides have not yet reached a final outcome.
