Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization, said on Wednesday the fourth of Shahrivar at a ceremony held on the occasion of "Government Week" that until the rules and inspection protocols for sites that have come under military attack are drafted, approved, and communicated, the International Atomic Energy Agency cannot claim to conduct inspections.

Eslami said: "That the Agency does not object to attacks on our nuclear sites or condemn them calls into question its authority and independence."

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization added: "Regarding the facilities that were attacked, the Majles law is the benchmark for us. The Agency must clarify and announce its position about the security status of the sites and what protocol it has for sites that are subjected to military attacks."

Eslami also said: "America and Israel are putting pressure on the Agency to visit the destroyed sites and inspect them. The reason for this pressure is that they want to see what happened to these sites as a result of the military operations they carried out."
