Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, wrote in a message: “The Islamic Republic will not back down in the face of any threat to the rights and interests of its people.”

Rezaei wrote that decisions in this regard should be made with a precise understanding of the conditions and “stronger than before.” The goal is not only to get through the current situation, but the Islamic Republic wants to pass this stage with security, cohesion, and greater capacity.

Rezaei wrote that, regarding the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic, strengthening deterrence, countering pressure from enemies, providing an immediate response to any attack, using the capacity of diplomacy, and maintaining readiness in the face of threats will be on the agenda.
