Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority said on Monday that the number of people killed in the devastating floods near the China border has reached 903, and 4,247 people are still missing.
The rescue operations entered their sixth day.
Chinese state media had previously confirmed 16 deaths and 546 missing persons in the Tibet region.
Taking both sides into account, total casualties stand at 919 killed and 4,793 missing.
Nepal’s list of the missing includes 592 foreign citizens.
