Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic, will take part in the annual meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and will hold a bilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, on the sidelines.
Based on a statement by the Kremlin, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, will also meet with Putin separately. Turkey is not an official member of this organisation.
Yury Ushakov, a Kremlin aide, said that Putin has at least nine bilateral meetings scheduled in his program.
