According to Mehr’s correspondent, over the past few hours, reports claiming that all air flights between airports in Iraq and Iran would be canceled starting Tuesday have been circulated on social media.
In this regard, Majid Akhavan, the spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Organization, told Mehr’s correspondent that: “So far, no official announcement has been released by the Iraqi government, the Ministry of Transport, or aviation authorities in that country regarding a complete halt of flights between Iran and Iraq.”
He emphasized: “The claim that all flights between Iraq and Iran, and vice versa, have been canceled is not officially confirmed, and this news is denied.”
