🔻On the fourth anniversary of the start of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests in Iran, Amnesty International has, in a new report, examined the chain of decision-making and the implementation of the crackdown on these protests, and called for criminal investigations into dozens of Islamic Republic officials.

The report, titled “Architects of Crime,” was published on the anniversary of the killing of Mahsa (Zhina) in police custody of Iran’s morality police on 25 Shahrivar 1401, in more than 1,000 pages.

Zhiar Gol, at Amnesty International, spoke with Agnès Callamard, the Secretary-General of Amnesty International, about this investigative report and the human rights organization’s demand to prosecute those responsible for the massacre of protesters in Iran.
