Payam Derafshan, the lawyer of Ali-Asghar Peyghambari, one of the detained protesters during the National Revolution of Dey 1404, said in an interview with the Etedad channel that the Supreme Court has confirmed his client’s death sentence.

Hengaw reported that Ali-Asghar Peyghambari has recently been transferred from Tehran’s Evin Prison to Karaj’s Qezel Hesar Prison, and that, in light of the confirmation of his death sentence, the transfer of this citizen to Qezel Hesar Prison—where death sentences are carried out—has raised concern for his family.
