🔻 حسین Ziyari, a prominent football referee in Iran and the Director General of Planning and Budget of the Semnan Governorate, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison. This football referee was arrested on 13 Ordibehesht by security officers in Semnan Province.

🔹 After his arrest, Ziyari was subjected to severe beating and suffered physical injuries, and he was even faced with threats of execution. During this period, his family was also under pressure and threats from security forces so that they would refrain from reporting on his condition.

🔹 Among the allegations raised against Ziyari is “association with enemies of the regime,” and establishing contact with people such as Mohammadreza Faghani, an international football referee living in Sweden.

🔹 The Football Federation and the Referees Committee have yet to react to the news of this prominent Premier League referee’s imprisonment.
