President Trump’s welcome to leaders of regional countries and his jab at Erdoğan;

A multilateral meeting between the United States and regional leaders was held on Tuesday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting was hosted by Donald Trump and was attended by representatives of the six member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman, as well as leaders and senior officials from Turkey, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria.

Reviewing the latest status of ongoing negotiations between Washington and Tehran, exchanging views on the region’s security and economic structure, examining ways to ensure the security of the Strait of Hormuz, and emphasizing multilateral cooperation were among the topics discussed in this meeting.
