Prince Reza Pahlavi, at the second edition of the “Cyrus the Great” event in Toronto, said that, given the new conditions, the tactics and methods of carrying out actions by the opponents of the Islamic Republic have changed, but the goal remains the overthrow of the Islamic Republic and achieving a free and prosperous Iran.

He said the Islamic Republic is seeking to create despair with “two lies”: first, that the opposition is not united and does not have a program, and second, that there is no organization among them. Prince Reza Pahlavi emphasized that the opposition agrees on four principles: preserving the territorial integrity of Iran, separating religion from government, individual freedoms and equality of citizens, and the right to choose the form of government of the future through a free vote by consensus. He said that in order to pressure the Islamic Republic, they have a specific plan that includes supporting the people, organizing forces, defections within the government structure, and managing the transitional period. He also said that the coordination of millions of Iranians inside and outside the country shows that there is organization.
