Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, told Al Jazeera that we remain committed to Ali Khamenei’s fatwa and have not changed our nuclear doctrine, but we do not know what will happen in the future.

Rezaei, referring to the fact that it would be better for the United States to accept Tehran’s conditions for ending the war, said that these conditions for ending the war across all fronts include the release of frozen assets and the end of the naval blockade.

The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic also said that Tehran wants an end to the fighting between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis.

Rezaei said that the actions of the United States and Israel allow us to withdraw from the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Calling Trump’s threats futile, Rezaei said: “We are ready for a fateful war.”
