Reports of Houthi attack on gas facilities in Saudi Arabia;

Reports indicate an attack by Houthi forces supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran on gas facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Local sources have reported a severe explosion and a fire at the al-Jubail gas facilities, and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy has also confirmed an attack on one of the facilities belonging to the Aramco refinery in Jizan.

The Saudi Ministry of Energy says firefighting teams managed a fire in one of the facilities in Jizan early Sunday morning, and no one was injured in the incident.

The attack took place exactly two days after the signing of a security agreement between Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.

The United Nations Security Council yesterday condemned Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and on ships in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
