Scott Bessent, U.S. Treasury Secretary, on the sidelines of the G20 meeting, said Washington will continue to apply economic pressure on the Islamic Republic. Bessent said Iran’s economy does not need to reach collapse, and that officials of the Islamic Republic only need to come to their senses.
