🔺 Trump severely underestimated Iran.

🔺 Today, no one considers the US war against Iran rational or logical. Everyone describes it as a foolish war, and I would add another word: ignorant.

🔺 US military, economic and political actions were based on neither accurate assessments nor sound calculations. They were carried out entirely at the prompting of Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu.

🔺 Netanyahu dragged Trump into a quagmire while he himself is now sitting on the sidelines. That is why disagreements have emerged between the two.

🔺 Just as Trump started a foolish war, he will now fail to get out of it because of his own folly.

🔺 It was — and remains — in America’s interest to accept Iran’s conditions and leave the war. The longer the US stays and struggles in this quagmire, the worse its situation will become.
