🔻Sky News reported that Aleksander Ceferin and Viktor Montagliani, the heads of UEFA and CONCACAF, have asked Gianni Infantino to distribute $2.1 billion from FIFA reserves among the 211 member federations; that is, an additional $10 million for each federation.

🔹Ceferin and Montagliani, who are both also FIFA vice presidents, wrote in their letter that even after additional financial resources are distributed among the federations, FIFA’s cash reserves will remain at least $1.5 billion.

🔹According to Sky News, on Friday a letter was sent to Infantino in which it was claimed that FIFA’s financial reserves are on the verge of rising to six billion dollars. The authors of the letter, referring to FIFA’s financial capacity, have questioned the supposed need to attract private investment to cover the costs of developing football.

🔹UEFA and CONCACAF, the confederation of North American, Central American and Caribbean football, have demanded that he step down as FIFA president following Infantino’s efforts to sell 20% of the rights related to the World Cup to private investors under a $20 billion plan.
