South Africans hold vigil for string of murdered women

Residents of South Africa’s Tembisa township braved the cold, holding up phone flashlights as they sang and prayed at a vigil for women killed in a string of murders.

South Africa has one of the world’s highest homicide rates, but the discovery of the bodies has raised fears that a serial killer or group of killers may be operating in the area.
