Spanish PM Sánchez addresses 81st UNGA:

🔺Spain has opposed every war of aggression over the past eight years, including in Ukraine, Lebanon and Iran.

🔺Spain imposed an arms embargo on Israel and banned the use of its territory for illegal aggression against Iran.

🔺Indifference to people being killed, children going hungry, and hospitals being destroyed is incompatible with humanitarian principles.

🔺Netanyahu continues to carry out mass killings in Gaza.

🔺Multilateral diplomacy is based on peace and must not be allowed to be misused.

🔺Some leaders are “selfish, ignorant and ruthless” and seek to drag the world back into a dark past.
