The contradictory actions of the United States regarding Ukraine do not currently align with its stated pursuit of peace, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview with TASS.

"The US rhetoric and actions are clearly contradictory. We noted [US Secretary of State Marco] Rubio's June remarks that Washington does not consider itself a 'neutral mediator,'" the deputy foreign minister said.

"At the same time, he recently said that the United States would try to arrange talks on Ukraine in the coming weeks. The ongoing US arms supplies to the Kiev regime, the provision of intelligence and other assistance speak for themselves, as they do not align with a pursuit of peace," he added.
