Alexander Dobrindt, Germany’s interior minister, is doubling the federal police’s anti-drone force from 150 to 300 officers and expanding its operational bases from four to eight across the country, according to Bild.

The move comes after an attempt to carry out an explosive drone attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport.
