The Islamic Republic executed Shahram Sadeghi, one of the detainee protesters from December, in Karaj early Sunday morning.

Government-affiliated media reported that he was sentenced to death over the charge of “operational action” in favor of Israel, the United States, and “hostile groups.”

Based on the official account, Sadeghi on the evening of December 18 of last year, during nationwide protests, drove a Pride (Saipa Pride) car toward Law Enforcement Force officers at Golzar Square in Golshahr, Karaj, running over seven of them.

Hosein Fazeli Herikandi, head of the judiciary in the Alborz province, said in the summer that one of these officers had been in a coma for three months.
