The Minister of Cultural Heritage of the Islamic Republic has said that the transfer of artifacts from the Institute of Traditional Arts to the National Museum of Iran is being done at the request of security institutions and to protect them against the consequences of war.

Seyed Reza Salehi-Amiri, in an interview with the newspaper “Payam-e Ma,” said that at least three institutions, in different periods, have requested the transfer of historical and valuable objects from vulnerable locations to secure storage facilities.
