🔻In a statement, Tractor Club announced the change of head coach and the separation of Mohammad Rabiei, and the appointment of Javad Nekounam, saying that “after reviewing the team’s conditions, the board of directors decided to change the coaching staff.” The club wrote that the change of head coach took place following a conversation between Hajjat Karim, the club’s managing director, and Mohammad Rabiei.

🔹The change in Tractor’s coaching staff is happening while only 5 days remain until the start of the Persian Gulf Pro League, and Tractor has held its pre-season training camps and also friendly matches before all other Pro League teams.

🔹Javad Nekounam left Esteghlal at the beginning of the 2024 season of Iran’s top-tier football league and, during this time, has not taken charge of any team.

🔹In recent weeks, various reports had been published about unfinished and inconclusive negotiations between Pro League clubs and Nekounam.

🔹The new Tractor head coach has so far been the head coach of different teams in 156 Persian Gulf Pro League matches, and his record includes 64 wins, 60 draws, and 32 losses.
