🔻 Trump releases AI-made video of attack on Kharg

Donald Trump, the U.S. president, has shared an AI-generated video on the Truth Social network showing large oil facilities exploding and on fire.

In explaining the video, Mr. Trump wrote: “Kharg Island is being leveled to the ground!!!”

The video’s release comes as military tensions between Iran and the United States have increased again. Earlier, U.S. forces targeted two Iranian launchers on Larak Island, and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that, in response, it targeted two U.S. bases in Jordan with missiles and drones.

Kharg Island is one of Iran’s most important oil export hubs in the Persian Gulf, and a large portion of the country’s crude oil exports are carried out through the terminals on this island.
