Turkey’s Ministry of Interior announced that Alihan Koriş, leader of the Sulaimani group, and 30 other people have been detained on charges of money laundering and involvement in organized crimes. Judicial authorities say the group was building a center worth about $70 million in the city of Cologne, Germany.
The prosecutor emphasized that the investigation concerns the establishment of an organized criminal network and has no connection to religious activities.
