🔺 Typhoon “Dolphin” sweeps across southern Japan; China shuts down some ports ahead of its arrival

▪ The powerful “Dolphin” typhoon swept through Okinawa Prefecture in southern Japan on Saturday, 17 Mordad, injuring at least six people and cutting power to more than 50,000 buildings. At the same time, Chinese officials have suspended the operations of some ports and shipping lines in anticipation of the typhoon’s arrival on the eastern coast of this country.
