The U.S. Embassy advises its citizens to remain vigilant and to be prepared for the possibility of flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions.

The warning was published a few hours after a similar security alert was issued by the U.S. Embassy in Israel for American citizens present in that country.
