👈 UAE blocks the activities of Iran’s Bank Melli: UAE Central Bank has banned the activities of Bank Melli of Iran in this country and prohibited all of its branches from carrying out financial transactions to and from Iran, including financing trade and transferring money.

The UAE Central Bank cited as the reason for this decision the violation of the country’s financial regulations, including non-compliance with requirements related to combating money laundering, financing terrorism, and financing the proliferation of weapons.
