🔸 United Arab Emirates reports cyberattacks on facilities in the country

The UAE’s Cyber Security Council on Monday, August 10 (19 Mordad), announced that it had been monitoring and neutralizing advanced and organized cyberattacks targeting parts of the aviation, energy, and education sectors.

According to the East Al-Awsat newspaper, the council said in a statement that it had responded to these cyberattacks efficiently and immediately, and that the attacks were thwarted before they could achieve their objectives and disrupt the targeted devices and systems.

The Cyber Security Council’s statement further addressed details of the matter, saying that the attacks included multiple routes and methods, including attempts to penetrate systems and digital infrastructure, targeting accounts and operational data, as well as targeted phishing campaigns and attempts to exploit users as a point of entry into the targeted environments.
