〰❌ Update/ The U.S. Senate approved a new sanctions bill against Russia and Iran named “Lindsey Graham” with 86 votes in favor and 11 against.

The bill aims to intensify economic pressure, granting the president the power to impose heavy tariffs of up to 100% on large purchasers of Russian energy.

It also extends Iran’s energy and defense-related sanctions until 2031 and sets new restrictions against Moscow, banks, state energy projects, and the “shadow fleet” of Russian oil tankers.
