🔸The US Secretary of State says Iran will lose oil tankers every time it targets US military ships.

🔸Marco Rubio made these remarks early on Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar, Iran time, during his trip to Colombia.

🔸In response to a question about US attacks on Iranian oil tankers, he said: “Iran continues to try to target the ships of the US Navy, and every time they do it or attempt to do it, they will lose oil tankers.”

🔸He said: “I think you will see this again today as well.”

🔸CENTCOM, the US Central Command, has said that Iran tried to attack US ships with a ballistic missile near the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM also said it was reacting to the destruction of five Iranian oil tankers.
