🔹We pay five million tomans in insurance, but they’ve cut insurance altogether for a certain set of services and medicines.

🔹From Bojnord: because of a small injury on my face, I got four stitches. I did a CT scan of my head and also an ultrasound, without insurance. The costs of all of that, along with cephalexin pills and an IV, came to eight million tomans.

🔹The price of paper and books has gone up terribly. I used to have an online book shop, but the prices rose so much that no one was buying books like before. Most people just asked about prices. My sales got so low that I was forced to close the page.

🔹Winter is coming. They still haven’t paid the people’s money for wheat. Where can we get seeds? With what money? Winter, I swear—here in Sanandaj, from another 20 days, rainfall will start. With what money can we prepare the seeds?

🔹On Eram Boulevard in Mehrshahr: they take photos of car license plates and confiscate the plates of cars whose occupants aren’t observing hijab. At 10 p.m., my son and my husband came out of class—right in front of my child, they confiscated the car. They also scanned our documents.

🔹TAPICO Company, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has carried out widespread layoffs of local workers at Khark Petrochemical. So far, 57 petrochemical workers have been dismissed, and the number is expected to reach 170 by the end of the year.
