Zahra Baghbani, from the victims of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement and an Iran International journalist, said that the movement, by breaking the fear, paved the way for the continuation of protests and the uprisings that followed. She added that the experience of suppression and violence changed the meaning of life, security, and homeland for many protesters, but resistance still continued.

Baghbani, pointing to the role of women and men in the protests, emphasized that the presence of protesters was the result of courage and awareness, not momentary excitement, and called for continued support for the victims and prisoners of this movement.
