🔻A 10-kilometer running race in Tehran was held on Friday morning, 27 Shahrivar, and thousands of women and men took part in the race and competed with one another. A notable point was the presence of women without mandatory headscarves in this race.

🔹Earlier, the Mahan-Run half-marathon event that was scheduled to be held in Kerman faced objections from the Kerman provincial religious seminary to women and men running alongside each other, and the race was canceled under pressure from government institutions.

🔹Also, the presence of women without mandatory headscarves in the Kish marathon had prompted reactions from officials of the Islamic Republic, including Masoud Pezeshkian.
