According to Gulf News, a ship near the Strait of Hormuz has been “targeted by Iran’s missile attacks.” Based on this report, the projectiles were fired from the Serek region in southern Iran. In this regard, images have been shared on social media showing an outbreak of fire on this ship.

Iranian media have also published images according to which a ship near the Strait of Hormuz has “been hit.”

Tasnim News Agency wrote: “Reports indicate the occurrence of a fire on a vessel in Oman’s coastal waters, near the ‘Kumzar’ area located in the Musandam Peninsula and at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz.”

According to Gulf News, in some posts it has been stated that this oil tanker was hit by “several missiles.” These reports have not yet been confirmed by official bodies such as the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) or the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
