Abolfazl Abotorabí, a member of parliament for Najafabad, told the Iran Watch website: “We do not have any assets from the United States, but according to Article 2 of the Charter of the United Nations, any country that is invaded by another country is also considered the aggressor. All Arab countries have placed their territory at America’s disposal, so we can seize their assets.”
He continued: “Seizing the assets of Arab countries is very easy. We can easily seize their ships and their assets.”
Abotorabí added: “Any other country that also helps America falls into this category as well. We will not abandon Bulgaria and Cyprus. They helped America and allowed it to invade us from their territory; therefore, if the assets of these countries enter the Persian Gulf, there is a possibility that we will seize their assets.”
