According to this report, Abolghasem Salavati, the judge of Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, sentenced Homa Taymouri to five years in prison, two years of being barred from leaving the country, and two years of a prohibition on using social networks on charges of “assembly and conspiracy against national security.” Her mobile phone will also be confiscated.

Homa Taymouri is a graduate with a master’s degree in political thought from the Tربیت مدرس University.

United Students reported that Yaser Azadeh, Taymouri’s husband and a graduate with a master’s degree in Western philosophy from Shahid Beheshti University, was also sentenced to five years in prison in the same case.
