🔺Qatar’s American partner has announced the LNG expansion project will be launched within the next few months

▪The U.S. company ConocoPhillips says the production of the first cargo of gas from this project will take place within the next few months.

▪Qatar’s LNG expansion project from the North Dome field (the Qatari portion of South Pars) with $29 billion in investment was started a few years ago, and it was planned that its gradual launch would begin in the spring of this year. The objective of this project was to increase Qatar’s annual LNG exports from 77 million tons to 126 million tons by 2027.

▪The war in the Middle East and the Islamic Republic’s attacks on the LNG facilities of Ras Laffan had also disrupted the development of this project, but ConocoPhillips say the LNG production process from this project will be turned on this summer.
