An American source told Fox News that almost all the missiles the Islamic Republic launched in the latest stage of attacks have been intercepted. The source did not provide further details about the number of missiles launched, the locations where they were intercepted, or any possible damage.
The report was published after the channel “News of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,” close to that military force, and the Tabnak website, affiliated with Mohsen Rezaei, had reported or claimed a new barrage of missiles and drones fired by Iran, and had claimed attacks on American ships and warships in the Strait of Hormuz. Press TV had also reported a missile launch at targets in the Strait of Hormuz.
American officials had previously not officially confirmed these reports.
