An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck the eastern part of Tehran on Monday morning, 9 Shahrivar 1405, and was felt in Pardis, Bomhen, and Lavasan. Tehran’s Emergency Medical Services Organization has announced that, based on initial assessments, the earthquake caused no injuries.

The spokesperson for Tehran Municipality’s Emergency Medical Services and Safety Services Organization stated that the earthquake occurred at 7:19 a.m., and that afterward, the EMS assessment teams were dispatched to the affected areas to check on the situation. Read
