🔸 An earthquake measuring 7.7 struck Indonesia’s eastern coasts at dawn on Saturday, 24 Mordad.

🔸 According to the governor of East Nusa Tenggara province, at least five people died as a result of collapsing debris.

🔸 After the earthquake, dozens of aftershocks occurred and tsunami waves with a height of less than one meter were recorded in several areas. The tsunami warning was lifted about three hours later.

🔸 The National Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia has, so far, announced the official death toll as one killed and four injured. Around two thousand people have also evacuated from the area of Nagkeo, where they live.

🔸 The earthquake damaged a number of homes, warehouses, and government buildings, and in some areas caused power outages and disrupted transportation.
