Antonio Costa, President of the European Council, called for an end to Islamic Republic attacks on neighboring countries and for the full restoration of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Costa had previously also condemned the Islamic Republic’s attacks on countries in the region and said that the return of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz was among the European Union’s priorities in relation to the war.
