🔸 Car maker “Seer,” as part of Saudi Arabia’s program to develop the auto industry, unveiled two fully electric vehicles. The ceremony was held on 30 Shahrivar in the King Abdullah Economic City.

🔸 The cars, named “Exoboot,” were introduced in two versions: a luxury sedan and an SUV. Sales will begin in Saudi Arabia in early 2027.

🔸 The designs of the two vehicles are similar to the examples seen in the science-fiction film “Tron,” and their doors open upward. The central pillar between the front and rear sections of the car has also been removed, and very strong materials are used to maintain body strength.

🔸 These two vehicles are the first products in a seven-model lineup. The “Seer” company plans to offer models in medium and small sizes as well by 2034.

🔸 “Seer” was launched with a joint investment between Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and the Taiwanese company “Foxconn.”

🔸 However, in addition to the previous obstacles to producing cars domestically in Saudi Arabia, the company is also facing transportation problems and inflationary pressures related to the war between the United States and Israel against Iran.
