CBS News reported that Brad Cooper, commander of the U.S. Central Command headquarters, Centcom, amid the ongoing clashes with the Islamic Republic, said he has no concern about a shortage of U.S. intercept missiles and that his country’s forces are prepared to deal with any situation.

Cooper, on Sunday, September 22, in an interview with CBS News’ program “60 Minutes,” when asked about estimates of consumption of 45 percent of Patriot missiles and more than half of the U.S. TAD missiles, said: “Not at all. We are well armed and prepared for any situation.”

The remarks are made as, alongside the continued exchange of fire between the United States and the Islamic Republic, concerns about the rapid reduction of the U.S. missile stockpiles and other precision-guided munitions have increased.
